Product Definition & Core Function
TCCA (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid) is an organic chlorine compound widely used as a disinfectant, bleaching agent, and algaecide. The multi-action tablet combines chlorination, shock treatment, and algae prevention in one slow-dissolving tablet. Available chlorine content: ≥90% (typical 90% available chlorine). Ideal for swimming pools, spas, and water treatment systems requiring continuous, multi-purpose sanitation.
Chemical Properties
- Oxidizing Class: Class 5.1 (oxidizing substance, UN 2468)
-Transport: Classified as dangerous goods; requires UN-approved packaging. IMDG code for sea freight, IATA for air.
-Stability: Stable under dry conditions; decomposes above 200°C. Avoid moisture, acids, and combustible materials.
-pH in solution: Acidic (approx. 2.5–3.0 at 1% solution)
